Pastor David, God has set you as a lighthouse for many who were/are lost in their Sea of Distress, and you have shone (shown) them the way. You have been a blessing to us and to a host of folks. I recall the biblical story about the disciples as the waves crashed over them; they cried out in fear, thinking that they were going to their deaths, but Jesus calmed their fears as He calmed the seas. That same Jesus, is with you and your family in this storm. In that truth, may you find peace, hope, help, comfort, and joy as you ride out this storm on your Sea of Distress. Our love and prayers are with you and your family. We will lift you up daily and trust that He will provide all your needs. For God is good...all the time. "For we know that all things work together for good to those who love God and are called according to His purpose." Pastor David, that scripture is one which has been our strength. And it is also one that you used in the sermon you delivered when you shared with the church your health concerns. As we know, life does not always treat us with tenderness and gentleness, but He does, and it is in Him we are! Keepin our focus on Him is our ultimate goal. We love you!
